Eleanor Carey is a dual world record holding adventurer and entrepreneur. She spent 62 days crossing the Pacific Ocean by human power in a 25 foot ocean rowing boat, battling hurricanes, 40 foot waves and extreme seasickness.   As Adventurer In Residence at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Eleanor draws on the parallels between the worlds of business and extreme outdoor adventures. Originally a physiotherapist, Eleanor shifted gears into the business world becoming the co-founder and CEO of The Generator Innovation Hub, before selling the business in 2019. She has also lead missions with Startup Catalyst to the USA and UK with investors, founders, policy makers and community leaders.
