Dee Edwards is a regional champion, equity advocate and entrepreneurship mentor. She is the Entrepreneurship Facilitator for the Barossa, Yorke and Mid North region with Flinders University New Venture Institute under the Entrepreneurship Facilitator Services project, a national initiative that boosts entrepreneurship and the innovation ecosystem. An intuitive, humanity-driven leader in her community, Dee is recognised for her empathetic approach to systems management, ecosystem building and social justice issues embedded in regional entrepreneurship. As a proud Gubbi Gubbi and South Sea Islander woman, Dee aspires to honour her cultural legacy by leading her work and relationships with the question: “what kind of ancestor do I want to be?”
